Casa del Arbol ("Tree House") in Ecuador

Casa del Arbol (“Tree House”) in Ecuador

  • Go to Ireland. I’ve been saving for it since February 2013. Check! October 2016
  • Visit Casa del Arbol in Ecuador. It has 5 stars on Trip Advisor!
  • Parasail
  • Ride a camel … just to see what it’s like
  • Visit another country with my family: my parents, brother and sister
  • Spend a whole weekend with just my siblings. Since I live 3 1/2 hours away and haven’t lived with them since my brother was 11 and my sister was 2, I feel like I’ve missed a lot. Check! Brother: July 2015; sister: July 2016
  • Go on a hot air balloon ride
  • See Greece
  • Learn how to drive a stick shift. I’ve only had one lesson.
  • Read C.S. Lewis’ 7 signature classics: Mere Christianity, The Screwtape Letters, The Abolition of Man, The Great Divorce, The Problem of Pain, Miracles and A Grief Observed. I already have the books; I just haven’t read them.
  • Drive across country with friends.
  • Visit the Grand Canyon. Pete has done this already, but I’d like to take the trip with him.
  • Have a dream home that includes the following: big porch, bay window, punching bag, swing, deep freezer, world map

  1. I want a punching bag in my home one day too…are laundry shoots still relevant? Deep freezer like walk-in or one that opens from the top? You can ride a camel at the Renn Fest (I think)

  2. Laundry chutes are totally relevant. Although I kind of like one-level homes, so maybe it won’t matter to me. … A deep freeze that opens from the top. … And how much are the camel rides at the Renn Fest? … If I don’t get to Ireland this year or next, a 30th birthday thing is a real possibility.
