Dislike

I’m not a negative Nancy, but there are some little things in life that really annoy me. Hate is too strong of a word, so I’ll go with dislike. Here are three of them:

When I paint my nails, wait a long time for them to dry and still manage to mess one up shortly thereafter. Argh.

When I tear off a paper towel and a little triangle at the bottom doesn’t quite make it. This usually happens with cheap paper towels. I don’t know if it’s weak perforation or what, but I don’t like having an incomplete paper towel. I usually tear off the triangle and throw it away because I don’t like the way it looks.

Cooking with flour. It goes EVERYWHERE. It doesn’t matter how slowly and gently I put my measuring cup in there; some of it always gets on the rim of the canister and makes a white powdery ring on the counter. This is one of my least favorite ingredients.

I know these are silly, first-world problems, and it’s not like any of these are a big deal, but they still seem to get on my nerves. … Do you have dislikes like that? You should leave me a comment!

P.S. Since I haven’t posted a healthy recipe in a while, here’s a healthy thing I bought: zucchini cakes. They have a weird flavor, and I’m not sure I would buy them again, but they aren’t terrible.
